Social Worker Abdul Qadir the saviour for poor people during lockdown.

In our childhood, every year during Christmas, we always wanted to be on the good list of Santa Clause, so that he fulfilled our wishes. The excitement of getting gifts was overwhelming. After growing up, we realized that our parents or elder siblings used to be our secret Santa to put a smile on our faces. To be honest, we were privileged! But some people are not.

The percentage of poverty per capita is not at all a proud thing to discuss in our country. When the pandemic hit the world, our Honourable Prime minister Mr. Nadenra Modi said that the country would be pushed back by 21 years due to the covid-19 pandemic. In the current situation, we can feel that the COVID19 pandemic turned the civilization upside down. We do not know when we will be recovered from this uncertainty.

The rising number of deaths, debts, unemployment, and new strains of the virus increases heart palpitation every day. Every-one of us faced difficulties during the lockdown period, but the most pathetic condition was encountered by the underprivileged. The government was doing a great job to save the countrymen, but it was nearly impossible to continue the process for months.

At this point, social workers emerge like angels of the society to rescue the needy people from the emergency mishap. Social worker Abdul Qadir came out of his cocoon and started working hard as a responsible citizen during the COVID19 pandemic.

Abdul Qadir is a 23 years old medical student who wishes to change the pathetic condition of poor people. He is currently studying MBBS at a Private Medical College. Making a name from a small distant village is not easy. The will power and determination with positive action helped physician Abdul Qadir to achieve this goal. Abdul Qadir completed his schooling in Azamgarh. Then he shifted to Kota, Rajasthan, to prepare for NEET. He worked hard to become a doctor for two long years. After two years, Abdul Qadir managed to secure a seat in a private medical college.

Social worker and physician Abdul Qadir distributed basic ration to more than 1500 families during the lockdown period. The ration consisted of Rice, pulses, oil, essential medicines, salt, sugar, etc. Choosing to become a physician as a lifetime occupation was a noble decision taken by social worker Abdul Qadir. He also decided to practice in his village after completing his degree. Many doctors came out of the same village to become physicians, but they stayed in the cities. But Abdul Qadir wants to help the people under the poverty line, and he will provide free treatment and medicine to them in the future.
