How to make a Website without Coding in just 10 minutes with wordpress in 2020.

Have you ever thought of making a website but don’t know how to make it? after all it a terrifying thought when you are not from a tech background.

My name is Siddharth Talesara founder of ThreeSides and ThreePlants.I also face the same problems when I just started yet. I don’t have any experience in making a website and don’t have enough money to invest in.

So it’s no surprise that the job board website didn’t make it. But, it led me to where I am today, Running two world-famous website and teaching you to make your own.

So, The question arises why I supposed to use WordPress for making my website?

Let us see what a website making process take if you don’t use WordPress or other sources out there.

First of all, you want to create a website on your own you need to have a deep knowledge of website building, coding and much more. And most people don’t want it like that.

That’s why Matt Mullenweg (founder of WordPress) had to find out to solve this problem by making a tool by which website making can be a work of a few minutes.

For creating a website first you must be clear what type of website you want to create like if its an e-commerce store or your portfolio showcasing website.

So website making is divided into 5 simple steps. Follow them and your website will be good to go in just a few minutes.

Step3. Installing WordPress to your hosting.

Step4. Adding a new theme to your Site.

STEP 1 PICK A NAME FOR YOUR WEBSITE FIRST!

I personally believe the name is one of the most important aspects while creating a website.

Your website name should be catchy, short and easy to remember. If you go with long, unrecognizable and hard to remember names then possibilities are, you will never rank in Search Engines.

You should focus on any keyword related to your niche and find a creative name out of it.

Remember, a good and catchy name with the use of best keyword can drive more traffic than the long name.

You can take the example of any company like Google, Amazon, Twitter, Netflix, Facebook and even mine also ThreeSides which have easy to remember names and they are short at the same time.

STEP 2 GET HOSTING AND DOMAIN FOR YOUR WEBSITE.

Once you find your site’s name, the next step is to get hosting & domain. The domain is the name of your site (www.yoursite.com) and hosting is a platform where you put your website content and puts on the internet.

Domain finding can be a confusing task as this includes checking the availability of the name you want.

The extension of the domain matters a lot in ranking and SEO of your website. If you host your website with the top-level domain i.e. .com then chances are your ranking improves much faster.

But in case you don’t get .com domain then you can go with other domain extensions like .in, .org, .net, .xyz etc.

The next big thing is to buy the Webhosting. Webhosting is basically a place where you store all your website data. It actually hosts your website so anybody can surf your website know more about you and your services.

There are many hosting providers out there in the market. But the question arises from where they should buy their hosting services. Well, a simple answer to it is from the most trusted one.

A website is your online business which runs 24 x 7. For this, you will need hosting from a very trusted seller so your website is always live.

The main difference between the trusted ones and nontrusted ones is their uptime. In simple language, it is the probability of your website to be live on the internet(for trusted providers like Godaddy it 99.99%).

Now the question arises which hosting best suits for you. Well if you are a beginner and just started yet you should go with the basic one which is cheap(low cost). But if you want a very advanced website then you have to invest in it by going with premium plans or higher.

STEP 3 INSTALLING WORDPRESS!

Once you have to reach here, you have your domain and hosting by the hosting providers.

Now to install WordPress, go to your hosting account and login to your account click on my products and click on hosting. Now scroll down and click on”Managed WordPress”.

Add your domain and create WordPress Login by entering a username and password. (This will be used to logging into WordPress Dashboard)

Then click on install and in a few seconds, your WordPress will be installed.

After that, you will be redirected to your WordPress dashboard.

After the WordPress installation is complete, you’ll then be taken to your WordPress Dashboard. Now, this is the place where you’ll be controlling your website. When you reach this page, your website will be LIVE! So, you can quickly check it, by entering your domain name.

STEP4 ADDING A NEW THEME TO YOUR SITE!

You can just install a new theme by going to the “Themes” section in the WordPress Dashboard.

You can install any of the themes that you like, according to your need.

Now there are some premium themes out there in the market. You can choose from them also if you like. But remember if you are just starting out you should go with free themes to understand it.

Now, this plugin has a set of designs for your website, which you can choose & then apply it to your site. To choose the designs, you can click ‘See Library’. now, before you select a design, make sure you click ‘Elementor’ which will make it easy for you to edit the design.

So, choose the design and import it to your site. Once, you’ve got the design with its demo content, you can then go to the final step.

STEP5 EDITING THE DEMO CONTENT.

Editing the site to your need is the main part. By this, you can customize your website to a look you want.

Editing a page is very easy. To edit a page, just go into the page that you want to edit and click ‘Elementor’. You’ll then go to an editing section. Now, to edit any text, just select it, and type anything that you want. This process works throughout the website. This is how, you can edit any page you want, using Elementor. Now, if you want to edit the header and the footer area of your website, you can simply click ‘customise’. After you click,’customise’. You’ll see some blue icons on the page. To edit anything, like the logo or the menu section, just click the blue icon and make your changes

Now, to create a new page, you can use 2 methods:

Create your own page by dragging and dropping elements using Elementor.

Use pre-made designs using Templates.

Elementor made the customization super easy and hurray your website is live and now you can turn your thought into website blogs or anything else and share it with the world.
