Dr. Ju Hearn sees his student-athletes in top-form post-COVID-19 crisis

The whole world is in a state of lockdown. Everything we took for granted has been taken from us quite literally overnight. The freedom to live life on our own terms has been temporarily put on hold. We can no longer come and go as we please, see who we want to see and do what we want to do when we want to do it.

COVID-19 has turned the world upside and forced everyone to modify their behavior and adapt to a different way of doing things. Sports performance trainer, Dr. Ju Hearn shares that, “for athletes and all those used to pushing the limits of their physicality on a daily basis, the lockdown goes against every instinct they have spent years honing to perfection.”

“Sitting still and spending hours indoors is something that doesn’t come naturally to any athlete. Yet, it is a necessary evil in these unprecedented times to keep everyone safe and healthy and stop the spread of a virus which is ravaging the world and everyone in it,” he adds.

That’s why Dr. Ju Hearn, an American citizen who is born on 12th November in Illinois is keen to play his role in promoting social isolation whilst at the same time doing all he can to help his student-athletes stay fit, positive, and disciplined at this unique point in history.

To this end, Dr. Ju Hearn has made the tough decision to temporarily close large group classes at 360 Active Recovery and High IQ Academy during the Coronavirus pandemic. To soften the blow on patients, Dr. Hearn has officially launched an app that will enable patients to train and achieve their fitness goals from the comfort of their own home.

Tailored for online personal training and physical therapy, the 360 Active Recovery app will give users complete access to Dr. Ju Hearn and the rest of the team behind the number one training Bootcamp in Chicago.

Live one-on-one workouts, and technology enabling clients to store key data regarding their nutrition, measurements, progress, and goals are two of the features that will help everyone keep track of their performance.

For his student-athletes, Dr. Ju Hearn is keen to stress how in these trying times, it is important for everyone to keep mind and body healthy. To carry on with their daily routines, to keep striving towards their goals, to keep setting themselves personal challenges, and to not give in to despair.

He explains, “The athletic body naturally wants to move, to compete, and to push itself further and further. To sit in the house and wait does not come easy. But circumstances have dictated we all now need to stay indoors for the good of all. Yet that doesn’t mean we have to remain inactive. Thanks to technology, you can turn your living room into a virtual gym.”

Dr. Ju Hearn adds, “One day, when all this is over, we’ll all return to competing and performing in our respective fields once more. In the meantime, keep yourself in shape, stay positive, and don’t give up on your dreams.”
