What is 5th Industrial Revolution? It’s about working at the intersection of KPI ( Key Performance Indicators ) based performance and SDG ( Sustainable Development Goals ) aligned impact, says Pratik. If you focus on impact, you can drive more revenue and profits.

Acknowledging “a growing sense of civic responsibility among the youth of today”, global impact entrepreneur Pratik Gauri — who runs a portfolio of companies in the 5IR space — says that social entrepreneurship is fast becoming a prime choice to venture into as a career path for young people.

This is particularly common in developing economies like India where there are vast socio-economic concerns ready to be addressed. The popularity of social entrepreneurship has increased, considering the progressing COVID-19 pandemic. Youth realise now that most unicorn companies are going to be created in the impact space. Pratik Gauri speaks publicly in schools to mobilise youth towards social entrepreneurship and he actively invests in impact startups and social entrepreneurs.

“My portfolio companies will become the next Berkshire Hathaway in the 5th Industrial Revolution Space. My portfolio will have unicorn companies in the health, education, renewables, climate, and other socio-economic issues/opportunities. So I run companies in the 5IR space and actively invest in social entrepreneurs”, says Pratik.

Born in Delhi, Gauri went to 26 countries last year in 2019 to represent India and his works at prestigious forums like World Economic Forum in Davos, Skoll World Forum in Oxford, Nobel Peace Prize Forum in Oslo, and others. Gauri started his entrepreneurial journey when he was 16 years old and since then he has founded 8 companies in the impact space.
