Once an IHM Goa scholar, any study of Dhananjay must begin from Thailand where he handled the operations of his family restaurant. It was a unique experience for him- spending time learning the choices and tastes of people and what actually drives them. It was a great cultural experience for him. The world of culinary has fascinated him. It has given him very close and up-front exposure to people and their thoughts.

While Thailand gave him a good run for cuisines, Mumbai called upon him to understand the Bollywood affair. He worked with a leading production house as an Assistant Producer and Business Manager. He managed various dealings of movie making and furthered other proceedings of artists. He also appeared as an actor in a couple of television shows and movies. Dhananjay absorbed all the details of experience from both the culinary and cinematic world and used it to start a venture while also attending to his family’s business ventures.

He is now the Founder of Ivar World which is a house of organic fragrances- an attempt to infuse the age-old spirituality and sustainability into the Indian household. Alongside, he’s a trader. An HNI trader and boasts of an algorithm created all by himself for automated trading.

Dhananjay has through the years established that a man can have many passions and follow them all. There are few entrepreneurs who match his relentless drive and ingenious vision. As a business administrator and 21st-century entrepreneur, Dhananjay’s key attribute for success is compassion. He mentions, “My time in Thailand and Bollywood was filled with interacting with people and knowing their stories. Everyone is doing their best. It’s extremely important that we extend an empathetic hand to them. Only then we can actually achieve bottom line profits and grow as an enterprise.”
